What do you like best about your profession?

I like working outdoors and learning about the natural systems of the world and their importance. I like the diversity of work open to me.

What advice would you give to high school students?

Be sure to take all the math and biological sciences classes you can.

What do you think the future holds for your profession?

I think more and more natural resource students will experience travel abroad. I hope that public land management issues will become more and more in the public spotlight.
